Library and Western History Center Open House
Wednesday, February 5, 10:30am-1pm
~Doorprizes ~ Hors d’oeuvres ~ Poetry Reading~
We’ve been busy over break! Join us at the Library for some hors d’oeuvres and refreshments on Wednesday, Feb. 5th from 10:30-1 for an open house to showcase our new circulation desk and fresh layout with new furniture! Chad Hanson, winner of the 2013 David Martinson-Meadowhawk Prize in Poetry, will begin the event at 10:30 by reading selected poems from his forthcoming manuscript and recent publications. Since we love books over here, what better than to have a drawing for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings box set as a door prize, along with Chad Hanson’s latest book, and a $50 gift card for Barnes & Noble!
The Western History Center will join in the fun and demonstrate their new Colortrac Gx+T56c scanner. It is capable of scanning documents 56″ wide and will be available for campus use. They will also have a drawing for a copy of “Reshaw, the Life and Times of John Baptiste Richard” by Jefferson Glass.
See you then!
